AC/DC TO RESCHEDULE UPCOMING U.S. TOUR DATES
SINGER BRIAN JOHNSON ADVISED BY DOCTORS
TO DISCONTINUE TOURING
(New York, NY; March 7, 2016) – AC/DC are forced to reschedule the 10 upcoming dates on the U.S. leg of their “Rock or Bust” World Tour. AC/DC’s lead singer, Brian Johnson, has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.

The River is 10 years old, so we’re throwing The River’s Rockin’ Birthday Bash… with BOSTON! The show is Saturday, August 6th, at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta. Tickets go on sale March 11th at 10am at Ticketmaster.com. We will have a TON of tickets between now and August – tickets in the 1st row, backstage meet ‘n greets… lots of giveaways. We’ll give tickets away on the radio, at 971theriver.com, using our River App, and at events all summer. Pets are often reunited with their owners after becoming lost thanks to microchips that link the animals with their owners’ information. What doesn’t happen often are homecomings of pets that have gone missing for more than a decade.
One Iowa family is the exception.
Jill Petticord was a young girl when she adopted Ralph as a kitten from an animal shelter in 1998. The cat went missing three years later.
Last week, Ralph showed up at the animal shelter again. A microchip connected the cat back to the Petticord family.

One Missouri man didn’t get the chance to pass go, but he did go straight to jail. Too bad it was a real jail and not the spot on a Monopoly board.
According to the Stone County Sheriff’s Department, John Litton, 69, participated in an annual Monopoly tournament with others in the community. Tournament organizers told Litton he would not be invited to participate in this year’s tournament due to unsportsmanlike behavior at the event last year.
